This St. John of God Unisex Hoodie is relaxation itself. The material is a thick blend of cotton and polyester. This makes for a plush, soft feel alongside warmth. It's also a great surface for printing. There are no side seams. A spacious kangaroo pocket hangs in front. The hood's drawstring is the same color as the base sweater.
St. John of God grew up in Montemor-o-Novo, Portugal and worked as a shepherd until the age of 20. He then enlisted in the Spanish army and fought in Italy on behalf of Spain during the Italian Wars that involved France and the Holy Roman Empire. In 1538, he went to Granada, Spain to found a hospital for the poor and sick. St. John of God was canonized as Saint John of God by Pope Clement XI on March 12, 1690.
